Hadith 1355

1355 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: صَنَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، خَاتَمًا، قَالَ: إِنَّا اتَّخَذْنَا خَاتَمًا، وَنَقَشْنَا فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلاَ يَنْقُشْ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ قَالَ: فَإِنِّي لأَرَى بَرِيقَهُ فِي خِنْصَرِهِ
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made and said, "We have had a ring made and the words (Muhammad Rasul Allah) are engraved on it, so no one should have this inscription engraved on their ring." Anas narrated that it is as if I can still see the shine of that ring on the little finger of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
