1344 صحيح حديث عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: أُهْدِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُّوجُ حَرِيرٍ، فَلَبِسَهُ فَصَلّى فِيهِ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَنَزَعَهُ نَزْعًا شَدِيدًا كَالْكَارِهِ لَهُ وَقَالَ: لاَ يَنْبَغِي هذَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a silk cloak as a gift. He wore it and performed prayer, but when he finished the prayer, he took it off very quickly, as if he felt discomfort wearing it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is not suitable for the pious.
