133 صحيح حديث أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَقُولُ اللهُ: يَا آدَمُ فَيَقُولُ: لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ قَالَ: يَقُولُ: أَخْرِجْ بَعْثَ النَّارِ، قَالَ: وَمَا بَعثُ النَّارِ قَالَ: مِنْ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ، تِسْعَمِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ، فَذَاكَ حَينَ يَشِيبُ الصَّغِيرُ، وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا، وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَى وَمَا هُمْ بِسُكَارَى وَلكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللهِ شَدِيدٌ فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُّنَا ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ قَالَ: أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّ مِنْ يَأْجُوج وَمَأجُوجَ أَلْفًا وَمِنْكُمْ رَجُلٌ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي في يَدِهِ إِنِّي لأَطْمَعُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، قَالَ: فَحَمِدْنَا اللهَ وَكَبَّرْنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي فِي يَدِهِ إِنِّي لأَطْمَعُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا شَطْرَ أَهْل الجَنَّةِ، إِنَّ مَثَلَكُمْ فِي الأُمَمِ كَمَثَلِ الشَّعَرَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ فِي جِلْدِ الثَّوْرِ الأَسْوَدِ، أَوِ الرَّقْمَةِ فِي ذِرَاعِ الْحِمَارِ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty will say, "O Adam!" Adam (peace be upon him) will reply, "Here I am, obedient to Your command, and all goodness is in Your hands." Allah Almighty will say, "Bring out those who are to be sent to Hell." Adam (peace be upon him) will ask, "How many are to be sent to Hell?" Allah Almighty will say, "Out of every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine." This will be the time when children will become old with grief, pregnant women will miscarry, and you will see people as if they are intoxicated, though they will not truly be intoxicated, but the punishment of Allah will be severe.
This matter seemed very hard to the Companions, so they asked, "O Messenger of Allah, then who among us will be that (fortunate) person?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Rejoice! Out of every thousand, one will be from you and the rest will be from the nation of Gog and Magog." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I hope that you will be one third of the people of Paradise." The narrator said, "Upon this, we praised Allah and proclaimed His greatness." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise. Your example among the other nations is like a white hair on the body of a black bull, or like the white spot on the foreleg of a donkey."
