1309 صحيح حديث جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ، رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ، مِنَ النَّقِيعِ، بِإِنَاءٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ إِلَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَلاَّ خَمَّرْتَهُ، وَلَوْ أَنْ تَعْرُضَ عَلَيْهِ عُودًا
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Ansari companion Abu Humayd Sa'idi brought a bowl of milk (uncovered) from the place Naqi', so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Why did you not cover it? You could have placed even a stick over it."
