1174 صحيح حديث جُنْدُبِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي بَعْضِ الْمَشَاهِدِ، وَقَدْ دَمِيَتْ إِصْبَعُهُ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ أَنْتِ إِلاَّ إِصْبَعٌ دَمِيتِ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مَا لَقِيتِ
Hazrat Jundub bin Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was present on the occasion of a battle and his finger was injured. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed his finger and said: "What is your reality except that you are an injured finger, and whatever has happened has happened in the way of Allah."
