1172 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ النَبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ، وَأَبُو جَهْلٍ وَأَصْحَابٌ لَهُ جُلُوسٌ؛ إِذْ قَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ: أَيُّكُمْ يَجِىءُ بِسَلَى جَزُورِ بَنِي فُلاَنٍ فَيَضَعُهُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ مُحَمَّدٍ إِذَا سَجَدَ فَانْبَعَثَ أَشْقَى الْقَوْمِ، فَجَاءَ بِهِ، فَنَظَرَ حَتَّى سَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضَعَهُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ لاَ أُغَيِّرُ شَيْئًا، لَوْ كَانَ لِي مَنَعَةٌ قَالَ: فَجَعَلُوا يَضْحَكُونَ وَيُحِيلُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدٌ لاَ يَرْفَعُ رأْسَهُ حَتَّى جَاءَتهُ فَاطِمَةُ، فَطَرَحَتْ عَنْ ظَهْرِهِ، فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِذْ دَعَا عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ: وَكَانُوا يُرَوْنَ أَنَّ الدَّعْوَةَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْبَلَدِ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ ثُمَّ سَمَّى: اللهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ بِأَبِي جَهْلٍ، وَعَلَيْكَ بِعُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، وَشَيْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، وَالْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، وَأُمَيَّةَ بْنِ خَلَفٍ، وَعُقْبَةَ بْنَ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ وَعَدَّ السَّابِعَ فَلَمْ يَحْفَظْهُ قَالَ: فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الَّذِين عَدَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَرْعَى فِي الْقَلِيبِ، قَلِيبِ بَدْرٍ
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying near the Ka'bah and Abu Jahl and his companions were also sitting there. One of them said to the others, "Is there anyone among you who will bring the entrails of the she-camel that was slaughtered by such-and-such tribe, and when Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) goes into prostration, place it on his back?" Upon hearing this, the most wretched among them got up, brought the entrails, and waited. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went into prostration, he placed the entrails between his shoulders. (Abdullah bin Mas'ud says) I was watching all this but could do nothing. If only I had the power to stop it at that time! Abdullah says that they started laughing and rolling over with laughter, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in prostration and could not raise his head due to the weight. Eventually, Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came and removed the burden from the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) back and threw it away. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head and said three times, "O Allah! Seize the Quraysh." This was very hard on those disbelievers that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed them. Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that they believed that any supplication made in this city (Makkah) would surely be accepted. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took the name of each one of them individually, "O Allah! Destroy these oppressors: Abu Jahl, Utbah bin Rabi'ah, Shaybah bin Rabi'ah, Walid bin Utbah, Umayyah bin Khalaf, and 'Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt." He also mentioned the name of a seventh person, but I do not remember it. By the One in Whose hand is my soul! I saw the very people whose names the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned while cursing, lying dead in the well of Badr.
