112 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَأَى رَبَّهُ فَقَدْ أَعْظَمَ، ولكِنْ قد رَأى جِبْرِيلَ فِي صُورَتِهِ، وَخَلْقُهُ سَادٌّ مَا بَيْنَ الأُفُقِ
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that whoever claims that Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace be upon him) saw his Lord, he has uttered a great lie, but he (peace be upon him) saw Jibreel (peace be upon him) (on the night of Mi'raj) in his true form; his being covered the horizon of the sky.
