1110 صحيح حديث أَبِي بُرْدَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لاَ يُجْلَدُ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ جَلَدَاتٍ، إِلاَّ فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ الله
Hazrat Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: In the punishments set by Allah, except for a prescribed limit (hadd), no one should be given more than ten lashes as disciplinary punishment.
