Hadith 13288
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger, establishes prayer, and fasts in the month of Ramadan, then it is Allah’s right upon Himself to admit him into Paradise, whether he migrated in the way of Allah or lived in the land where he was born. The companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Should we not inform people of this? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Remember that) Paradise has one hundred levels, which Allah has prepared for those who strive in His path. The distance between each two levels is as great as the distance between the sky and the earth. Whenever you ask Allah for Paradise, ask for Jannat al-Firdaws, for it is the highest level of Paradise, above it is the Throne of Allah, and from it flow the rivers of Paradise.
Hadith 13289
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise has one hundred levels; between each two levels is a distance of one hundred years’ journey or the distance between the earth and the sky. The highest level is Jannat al-Firdaws; from it flow four rivers, and above it is the Throne of Allah Almighty. Whenever you ask Allah Almighty, ask for Jannat al-Firdaws.
Hadith 13290
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) has also narrated a similar hadith from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family).
Hadith 13291
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There are gardens of Paradise; among them are two such that the clothing, utensils, and everything of their inhabitants are of gold, and two such that the utensils, clothing of their inhabitants, and everything are of silver. In the Paradise of 'Adn, between the people of Paradise and the vision of Allah Almighty, there will be only the veil of Allah Almighty's majesty. These rivers originate from the Paradise of 'Adn, and from them further rivers branch out.
Hadith 13292
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Paradise has one hundred levels, and between each two levels is a distance of one hundred years.
Hadith 13293
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Paradise has one hundred levels, and each level is so vast that if all the people of the world were gathered in a single level, they would fit within it.
Hadith 13294
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The people of Paradise, despite the differences in their ranks in Paradise, will see each other in such a way as you see a star rising or setting on the eastern or western horizon of the sky. The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! Will these be the Prophets? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No, no, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad! These ranks will be for those who believed in Allah and His Messenger and affirmed all the Messengers.
Hadith 13295
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The people of the lower ranks in Paradise will be able to see those in the higher ranks just as you see the shining stars on the farthest edges of the sky. And Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq and Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with them both) will also be among such people of Paradise (who will be in the highest ranks of Paradise), and how excellent is their status.
Hadith 13296
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: In Paradise, those of lower ranks will look at those of higher ranks just as you see a shining star at the edge of the sky, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, and Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, are among such people of high status, and what an excellent status they have.
