The children of the Muslims
Hadith 13256
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”ذِرَارِيُّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَكْفُلُهُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The children of the people of Islam are in Paradise; Ibrahim (peace be upon him) takes care of them.
Hadith 13257
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ دُعِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى جَنَازَةِ غُلَامٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ طُوبَى لِهَذَا عُصْفُورٌ مِنْ عَصَافِيرِ الْجَنَّةِ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ الشَّرَّ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهُ قَالَ ”أَوَغَيْرُ ذَلِكَ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلَقَ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَهْلًا خَلَقَهَا لَهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي أَصْلَابِ آبَائِهِمْ وَخَلَقَ لِلنَّارِ أَهْلًا خَلَقَهَا لَهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي أَصْلَابِ آبَائِهِمْ“
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was called for the funeral of an Ansari child. I said: O Messenger of Allah! There is glad tidings for this child, he is one of the birds of Paradise, he neither found sin nor acted upon it. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Aisha! There is something else as well. The reality is that Allah Almighty created people for Paradise and Paradise for people at a time when these people were still in the loins of their fathers, and He created people for Hell and Hell for people at a time when these people were still in the loins of their forefathers.
Hadith 13258
وَعَنْ شُرَحْبِيلِ بْنِ شُفْعَةَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”يُقَالُ لِلْوِلْدَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ فَيَقُولُونَ يَا رَبِّ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ آبَاؤُنَا وَأُمَّهَاتُنَا قَالَ فَيَأْتُونَ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَالِي أَرَاهُمْ مُحْبَنْطِئِينَ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ فَيَقُولُونَ يَا رَبِّ آبَاؤُنَا وَأُمَّهَاتُنَا قَالَ فَيَقُولُ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ“
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said to the small children, "Go into Paradise," but they will say, "O our Lord! We will not go until our fathers and mothers also enter Paradise." Then they will move forward, and Allah Almighty will ask them, "What is the reason that you are walking slowly and with anger? Go, enter Paradise." But they will say, "O our Lord! Our fathers and our mothers." Eventually, Allah Almighty will say, "Alright, you also enter Paradise, and your fathers and mothers as well."
