Hadith 13243
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the fate of her two children who had died during the time of ignorance. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They will go to Hell. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) noticed signs of distress on the face of Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), he said: If you were to see their abode, you too would begin to dislike them. Then she asked: O Messenger of Allah! What about the children I have had from you, what will be their fate? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They will go to Paradise. Indeed, the people of faith and their children will go to Paradise, and the polytheists and their children will go to Hell. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: {وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّبَعَتْہُمْ ذُرِّیَّتُہُمْ بِاِیْمَانٍ اَلْحَقْنَابِھِمْ ذُرِّیَّتَہُم} (And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in faith—to them shall We join their offspring [in Paradise].) (Surah At-Tur: 21)
Hadith 13244
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: There was a time when I used to give the verdict that in the Hereafter, the children of Muslims will be with the Muslims and the children of polytheists will be with the polytheists, until such time that a certain man narrated to me from another man that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about their children, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty knows best what deeds they would have done." Then I went to the man who narrated this hadith, and he informed me of this hadith, so I abandoned my previous statement.
Hadith 13245
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I used to say about the children of the polytheists that they would be with them. But later, a man narrated this hadith from a companion that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Their Lord knows best about them; He is the One who created them, He knows them, and He also knows the deeds they would have done.
Hadith 13246
A woman from Banu Sareem, Hasna bint Muawiyah, narrates from her uncle. He says: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who will enter Paradise?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Prophet will be in Paradise, the martyr will be in Paradise, and (a boy and a girl who die before reaching puberty) will also be in Paradise."
Hadith 13247
. (Second chain of narration) It is stated in this: The minor child will also be in Paradise, and the girl who was buried alive will also enter Paradise.
