صِفَهُ عَذَابِ إِبْلِيسَ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ وَنِدَائِهِمْ بِالْوَيْلِ وَالثُبُوْرِ
The description of the punishment of Iblis and his progeny, and their cries of woe and destruction
Hadith 13237
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا: ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُكْسَى حُلَّةً مِنَ النَّارِ إِبْلِيسُ فَيَضَعُهَا عَلَى حَاجِبِهِ وَيَسْحَبُهَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتُهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَهُوَ يُنَادِي: وَاثُبُورَاهْ وَيُنَادُونَ: يَاثُبُورَهُمْ“ قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ: قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ ”حَتَّى يَقِفُوا عَلَى النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ: يَاثُبُورَاهْ وَيَقُولُونَ: يَاثُبُورَهُمْ فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ: {لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادْعُوا ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا}“ قَالَ عَفَّانُ: وَذُرِّيَّتُهُ خَلْفَهُ وَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ يَاثُبُورَهُمْ قَالَ عَفَّانٌ: حَاجِبَيْهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: First, Iblis will be clothed with a garment of fire, he will place it on his eyelids and pull it back, after that his offspring will also be clothed with such a garment. Iblis will say: "Woe to me!" and his offspring will say: "Woe to us!" He said this twice, until they will stand over the Fire. Then Iblis will say: "Woe to me!" and his offspring will say: "Woe to us!" At that time it will be said to them: { لَا تَدْعُوا الْیَوْمَ ثُبُوْرًا وَّاحِدًا وَّادْعُوْا ثُبُوْرًا کَثِیْرًا} (Today do not call for one destruction, but call for many destructions) (Surah Al-Furqan: 14).
