Hadith 13202
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The fire of this world of yours is one seventieth part of the fire of Hell. The fire of Hell was struck upon the sea twice to make it lighter and cooler, and if this had not been done, no person would have been able to benefit from it.
Hadith 13203
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The fire of this world is one hundredth part of the fire of Hell.
Hadith 13204
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "This fire of yours, which the sons of Adam kindle, is one part out of seventy parts of the fire of Hell." The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! This fire alone would have been sufficient for punishing people." He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Nevertheless, the fire of Hell is sixty-nine times more intense than this fire, each part as hot as this one."
Hadith 13205
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Hell complained to its Lord, saying: O my Lord! Some parts of me are consuming other parts, so allow me to breathe. Allah Almighty allowed it to breathe twice every year: once in the winter and once in the summer. The intense cold you feel is from the severe cold of Hell, and the intense heat you feel is from the heat or steam of Hell.
