Hadith 13151
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon Allah Almighty will speak directly to each one of you, and there will be no interpreter between them. On that day, a person will look to his right and will see nothing but the deeds he sent forth; then he will look to his left, and there too he will see nothing but the deeds he sent forth; then he will look in front of him and the Fire will be facing him. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If any of you can save himself from Hell, let him do so, even if it is by giving half a date in charity.
Hadith 13152
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him), this is a lengthy hadith, which has already been mentioned in the Book of Virtues under the circumstances of Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him). In it, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Each one of you will meet Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty will say: Did I not make you one who hears and sees? Did I not bless you with wealth and children? So what deed did you send forth? He will look in front of him, behind him, to his right and to his left, but he will not see any good deed. Then, when he is sent to Hell, he will try to protect himself from Hell with his face. Therefore, keep making provisions to save yourselves from Hell, even if it is by giving a piece of a date in charity, and if you do not possess even that, then speak a good word.
Hadith 13153
Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Abi Umairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who was a companion of the Messenger, narrates that he said: If a person, from the day of his birth until he grows old and dies, spends his entire life in obedience to Allah Almighty, prostrating on his face, even then on the Day of Resurrection he will consider this obedience as insignificant and will wish that he be sent back to the world so that he may perform more good deeds and attain greater reward and recompense.
Hadith 13154
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd Salma (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person is dragged on his face in the pleasure of Allah Almighty from the day of his birth until he grows old and dies, even then he will consider this deed insignificant and inferior on the Day of Resurrection.
Hadith 13155
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said to a person destined for Hell: Do you think that if you possessed all the treasures found on the earth, would you give them as ransom to free yourself from Hell? He will say: Yes. Allah Almighty will say: I had demanded from you something even easier than this, when you were in the loins of Adam (peace be upon him), I took a covenant from you that you would not associate partners with Me, but you insisted on associating partners with Me.
Hadith 13156
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating in a prayer: "Allahumma hasibni hisaban yaseeran." (O Allah! Take my account easily.) When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, I said: O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by an easy account? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It means that Allah will look at his record of deeds and forgive him. (According to another narration) The servant's sins will be presented to him and then immediately forgiven. O Aisha! On the Day of Resurrection, the person who is taken to detailed account will be destroyed, and (also remember that) whatever hardship or distress befalls a believer, even when a thorn pricks him, Allah, in return, forgives his sins.
Hadith 13157
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the person whose account is taken in detail will not be forgiven. A Muslim will see his deeds with his own eyes in his grave. Allah the Exalted said: {فَیَوْمَئِذٍ لّاَ یُسْاَلُ عَنْ ذَنْبِہِ اِِنسٌ وَلاَ جَآنٌّ } {اس روز نہ تو کسی انسان سے اس کے گناہوں کے بارے میں پوچھا جائے گا اور نہ کسی جن سے۔) (سورۂ رحمن: ۳۹)نیز فرمایا: {یُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِیمَاہُمْ} (The sinners will be recognized by their marks. (Surah Ar-Rahman: 41)
Hadith 13158
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad! Surely, good deeds and sins will be created in embodied forms and brought before the people on the Day of Resurrection. Goodness will give glad tidings to those who performed good deeds and will promise them a good end, while sin will say to the sinners: Go away, go away, but they will cling to it nonetheless.
