It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: During a journey, we stayed at a place with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those from my Ummah who will come to me at the Pond of Kawthar, you are not even one hundred-thousandth of them." We asked Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): How many were you that day? He said: We were seven or eight hundred people.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My cistern is as vast as the distance between Aden and Oman, and its water is colder than ice, sweeter than honey, and more fragrant than musk. The number of its drinking vessels will be equal to the stars. Whoever drinks from it once will never feel thirst again. The first to come to drink from it will be the poor emigrants. A man asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are these people? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They are those whose hair is disheveled, faces are withered, clothes are dirty and worn, doors are not opened for them when they come, and they are not married to well-off women. They fulfill all their responsibilities, but are unable to obtain their rights in the same way.
It is narrated from Sayyida Khawla bint Hakim (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will you have a reservoir (Hawd)?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and among those who come there, your people will be the most beloved to me."

When Sayyiduna Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) migrated to Madinah Munawwarah, he married a woman from Banu Najjar, the Ansari lady Sayyidah Khawlah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit the house of Sayyiduna Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) to meet him, and Sayyidah Khawlah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to narrate hadiths from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). She narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to our house one day. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have heard that on the Day of Resurrection you will have a vast and expansive reservoir? He said: Yes, and among those who will drink from it, the people I love the most will be from your tribe. Sayyidah Khawlah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I presented a pot to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), in which there was food prepared by mixing pieces of bread or flour, ghee, and meat. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand in it to eat, and his finger got burnt, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Oh!" and then said: "The son of Adam is indeed strange; if he feels cold, he says 'Oh!' and if he feels heat, he still says 'Oh!'"
