بيان الشفاعة للعصاة يوم القيامةExplanation of Intercession for Sinners on the Day of Resurrection
وفِيهِ أَيْضًا شَفَاعَةُ الصِّدِيقِينَ وَالْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ شَفَاعَتُهُ ﷺ لِفَرِيقِ مِّنْ أُمَّتِهِ اسْتَحَقُوا الْعَذَابَ قَبْلَ دُخُولِهِمُ النَّارَ وَاخْرَاجُ فَرِيْقٍ مِنْهَا بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُقَالُ لَهُمُ الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ
Also included is the intercession of the truthful, the prophets, and the martyrs, and his (peace be upon him) intercession for a group of his nation who deserved punishment before entering the Fire, and the release of a group from it by Allah's mercy; these are those called the Jahannamiyyun
Hadith 13105
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”إِنِّي لَأَوَّلُ النَّاسِ تَنْشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ عَنْ جُمْجُمَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ وَأُعْطِي لِوَاءَ الْحَمْدِ وَلَا فَخْرَ وَأَنَا سَيِّدُ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا فَخْرَ وَإِنِّي آتِي بَابَ الْجَنَّةِ فَآخُذُ بِحَلْقَتِهَا فَيَقُولُونَ مَنْ هَذَا فَأَقُولُ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ فَيَفْتَحُونَ لِي فَأَدْخُلُ فَإِذَا الْجَبَّارُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُسْتَقْبِلِي فَأَسْجُدُ لَهُ فَيَقُولُ ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَتَكَلَّمْ يُسْمَعْ مِنْكَ وَقُلْ يُقْبَلْ مِنْكَ وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ فَأَرْفَعُ رَأْسِي فَأَقُولُ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي يَا رَبِّ فَيَقُولُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى أُمَّتِكَ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ فَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَأُقْبِلُ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتُ فِي قَلْبِهِ ذَلِكَ فَأُدْخِلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا الْجَبَّارُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُسْتَقْبِلِي فَأَسْجُدُ لَهُ فَيَقُولُ ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَتَكَلَّمْ يُسْمَعْ مِنْكَ وَقُلْ يُقْبَلْ مِنْكَ وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ فَأَرْفَعُ رَأْسِي فَأَقُولُ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي أَيْ رَبِّ فَيَقُولُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى أُمَّتِكَ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتَ فِي قَلْبِهِ نِصْفَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ فَأَدْخِلْهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ فَأَذْهَبُ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتُ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالَ ذَلِكَ أُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا الْجَبَّارُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُسْتَقْبِلِي فَأَسْجُدُ لَهُ فَيَقُولُ ارْفَعْ رَأْسَكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَتَكَلَّمْ يُسْمَعْ مِنْكَ وَقُلْ يُقْبَلْ مِنْكَ وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ فَأَرْفَعُ رَأْسِي فَأَقُولُ أُمَّتِي أُمَّتِي فَيَقُولُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى أُمَّتِكَ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ فَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَأَذْهَبُ فَمَنْ وَجَدْتُ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالَ ذَلِكَ أَدْخَلْتُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ وَفَرَغَ اللَّهُ مِنْ حِسَابِ النَّاسِ وَأَدْخَلَ مَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْ أُمَّتِيَ النَّارَ مَعَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ أَهْلُ النَّارِ مَا أَغْنَى عَنْكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا تُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ شَيْئًا فَيَقُولُ الْجَبَّارُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَبِعِزَّتِي لَأُعْتِقَنَّهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ فَيُرْسِلُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَيَخْرُجُونَ وَقَدِ امْتُحِشُوا فَيُدْخَلُونَ فِي نَهْرِ الْحَيَاةِ فَيَنْبُتُونَ فِيهِ كَمَا تَنْبُتُ الْحَبَّةُ فِي غُثَاءِ السَّيْلِ وَيُكْتَبُ بَيْنَ أَعْيُنِهِمْ هَؤُلَاءِ عُتَقَاءُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَيُذْهَبُ بِهِمْ فَيَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ هَؤُلَاءِ الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ فَيَقُولُ الْجَبَّارُ بَلْ هَؤُلَاءِ عُتَقَاءُ الْجَبَّارِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: On the Day of Resurrection, the earth will split open first from my being, and I do not take pride in this. On the Day of Resurrection, I will be given the banner of praise, and I do not take pride in this. On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of all people, and I do not take pride in this. And on the Day of Resurrection, I will be the first to enter Paradise, and I do not take pride in this. I will go to the door of Paradise and hold its ring. They will ask: Who is it? I will say: I am Muhammad. Then they will open the door of Paradise for me. When I enter Paradise, Allah Almighty will be before me. I will fall into prostration before Him. Allah Almighty will say: O Muhammad! Raise your head, speak, your word will be heard, say, your word will be accepted, intercede, your intercession will be accepted. So I will raise my head from prostration and say: O Lord! My ummah, my ummah. Allah Almighty will say: Go to your ummah and bring into Paradise every person in whose heart there is faith equal to a grain of barley. I will go and whoever I find in whose heart there is such faith, I will admit him into Paradise. Then when Allah Almighty comes before me, I will fall into prostration before Him again. Allah Almighty will say: O Muhammad! Raise your head, speak, your word will be heard, speak, your word will be accepted, intercede, your intercession will be accepted. So I will raise my head from prostration and say: O Lord! My ummah, my ummah. Allah Almighty will say: Go to your ummah and bring into Paradise every person in whose heart there is faith equal to half a grain of barley. So I will go and whoever I find in whose heart there is such faith, I will bring them into Paradise. Then Allah Almighty will be before me and I will again fall into prostration before Him. Allah Almighty will say: O Muhammad! Raise your head, say, your word will be heard, say, your word will be accepted, intercede, your intercession will be accepted. I will raise my head from prostration and say: O Lord! My ummah, my ummah. Allah Almighty will say: Go to your ummah and bring into Paradise every person in whose heart there is faith equal to a mustard seed. So whoever I find in whose heart there is such faith, I will bring them into Paradise. Meanwhile, Allah Almighty, after finishing the reckoning of the people, will have admitted the remaining people of my ummah into Hell with the people of Hell, but the people of Hell will say to them: You used to worship Allah Almighty alone and did not associate anyone with Him, but this did not benefit you. Then Allah Almighty will say: By My honor, I will surely free these people from Hell. Then Allah Almighty will send angels towards them, so they will be taken out of Hell, while they will have become blackened by burning. Then they will be thrown into the river of life, and there they will grow as seeds grow in the debris and foam carried by a flood. It will be written between their eyes, that is, on their foreheads, that these are the servants freed by Allah Almighty. Then they will be admitted into Paradise. The people of Paradise will call them the people of Hell, but Allah Almighty will say: No, rather these are those freed by Allah Almighty.
Hadith 13106
عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”يُخْرَجُ مِنَ النَّارِ قَوْمٌ شَفَاعَةَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيُسَمَّوْنَ الْجَهَنَّمِيِّينَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Because of the intercession of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, a group will be taken out from Hell; they will be called by the name "the people of Hell."
Hadith 13107
عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”يُخْرِجُ اللَّهُ قَوْمًا مُنْتِنِينَ قَدْ مَحَشَتْهُمُ النَّارُ بِشَفَاعَةِ الشَّافِعِينَ فَيُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ فَيُسَمَّوْنَ الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ: الْجَهَنَّمِيِّينَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhaifah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: As a result of the intercession of those who intercede, Allah Almighty will remove a group from Hell who will have been burnt and scorched by the fire, turning them black. Then He will admit them into Paradise, and they will be called "Jahannamis" (people of Hell). The narrator of the hadith, Hajjaj, has used the word "Jahannamiyin" instead of "Jahannamis."
Hadith 13108
(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ”يُخْرَجُ قَوْمٌ مِنَ النَّارِ بَعْدَ مَا مَحَشَتْهُمُ النَّارُ يُقَالُ لَهُمُ الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ“
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Some people will be taken out from Hell, after the fire has burnt them and turned them black and dark; they will be called "the people of Hell."
