Refutation of those who deny intercession

1 hadith
Hadith 13098
Taliq bin Habib says: I was the one who most strongly denied intercession. One day I met Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and I recited before him all those verses in which Allah Almighty has mentioned that the people of Hell will remain in Hell forever. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Taliq! Do you think that you have more knowledge of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) than I do? I humbly replied: No, no, by Allah! You certainly know and understand the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) better than I do. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The verses you have recited mention that the polytheists will remain in Hell forever. (As for those Muslims) who have committed some sins, they will eventually be taken out of the Fire. With this, he pointed towards his ears with both hands and said: If I have not heard this hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), may these ears of mine become deaf. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sinners will be taken out of Hell. And whatever we recite, we do recite it, (but we do not understand its meaning).
