خُرُوجُ نَارٍ مِنْ حَضْرَمُوْتَ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ
The emergence of a fire from Hadramawt that will gather the people
Hadith 13054
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”سَتَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ أَوْ مِنْ بَحْرِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ“ قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُنَا قَالَ ”عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّامِ“
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Near the Day of Judgment, a fire will emerge from Hadramaut or from the sea of Hadramaut, which will gather the people. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do at that time?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: At that time, you should reside in the region of Sham (Greater Syria).
Hadith 13055
وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ أَوْ بِحَضْرَمَوْتَ فَتَسُوقُ النَّاسَ“ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا تَأْمُرُنَا قَالَ ”عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّامِ“
(Second chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A fire will emerge from the region of Hadramaut, and it will drive people forward. We said: O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do at that time? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Go to the land of Sham (Greater Syria).
Hadith 13056
وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ قَالَ قَامَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ يَا بَنِي غِفَّارٍ قُولُوا وَلَا تَخْتَلِفُوا فَإِنَّ الصَّادِقَ وَالْمَصْدُوقَ حَدَّثَنِي ”أَنَّ النَّاسَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَفْوَاجٍ فَوْجٌ رَاكِبِينَ طَاعِمِينَ كَاسِينَ وَفَوْجٌ يَمْشُونَ وَيَسْعَوْنَ وَفَوْجٌ تَسْحَبُهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ وَتَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَى النَّارِ“ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ هَذَانِ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُمَا فَمَا بَالُ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ وَيَسْعَوْنَ قَالَ ”يُلْقِي اللَّهُ الْآفَةَ عَلَى الظَّهْرِ حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى ظَهْرٌ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَكُونُ لَهُ الْحَدِيقَةُ الْمُعْجِبَةُ فَيُعْطِيهَا بِالشَّارِفِ ذَاتِ الْقَتَبِ فَلَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهَا“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhaifah bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: O Banu Ghifar! Speak the truth and do not differ among yourselves. Indeed, the truthful and trusted one, that is, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), told me that: People will be brought divided into three groups. One group will be those who will be riding, hoping for Allah’s mercy, and will be clothed. The second group will be those who will come walking and running. And the third group will be those whom the angels will drag on their faces towards Hell. Someone asked: We know about the first and third groups, but how and why will there be those who walk and run? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty will send calamities upon the riding animals, so that very few riding animals will remain. A man will have a splendid garden, and he will be willing to give the entire garden to obtain a camel with a saddle, but he will not be able to find such a camel.
Hadith 13057
وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ أَوْ بِسْرٍ السُّلَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ نَارٌ مِنْ حُبْسِ سَيْلٍ تَسِيرُ سَيْرَ بَطِيئَةِ الْإِبِلِ تَسِيرُ النَّهَارَ وَتُقِيمُ اللَّيْلَ تَغْدُو وَتَرُوحُ يُقَالُ غَدَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَاغْدُوا قَالَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَأَقِيلُوا رَاحَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَرُوحُوا مَنْ أَدْرَكَتْهُ أَكَلَتْهُ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bishr or Basar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon a fire will emerge from Habas-e-Seil, it will move like a slow-paced camel, it will travel during the day and halt at night, it will proceed in the morning and evening. It will be announced: O people! The fire has set out in the morning, so you also set out. O people! Now the fire is resting at midday, so you also rest. Now the fire has set out, so you also set out. Whoever is overtaken by that fire, it will burn him.
Hadith 13058
وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَشْرَفَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غُرْفَةٍ وَنَحْنُ نَتَذَاكَرُ السَّاعَةَ فَقَالَ ”لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَرَوْنَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَالدُّخَانُ وَالدَّابَّةُ وَخُرُوجُ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ وَخُرُوجُ عِيسَى بْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَالدَّجَّالُ وَثَلَاثُ خُسُوفٍ خَسْفٌ بِالْمَغْرِبِ وَخَسْفٌ بِالْمَشْرِقِ وَخَسْفٌ بِجَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَنَارٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ قَعْرِ عَدْنٍ تَسُوقُ أَوْ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ تَبِيتُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ بَاتُوا وَتَقِيلُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ قَالُوا“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhaifah bin Asid Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were discussing the Day of Resurrection when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards us from an upper room and then said: The Hour will not be established until you see these ten signs: the rising of the sun from the west, smoke, the beast, the emergence of Gog and Magog, the descent of ‘Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him), the Dajjal, the sinking of the earth in three places: one in the west, one in the east, and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and a fire that will emerge from the farthest part of Aden, which will drive people, and wherever they spend the night, the fire will also spend the night there, and wherever they rest at noon, it will also rest there.
