مُدَّةُ مَكْثِ الدَّجَّالِ بَعْدَ ظُهُورِهِ وَقَتْلُهُ الرَّجُلَ الْمُؤْمِنَ يُقَالُ إِنَّهُ الْخَضِرُ ثُمَّ اِحْيَاتُهُ وَعَدْمُ تَسَلُّطِهِ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ وَ هَلَاكُ الدَّجَّالِ
The duration of the Dajjal's stay after his appearance, his killing of the believing man (said to be al-Khidr), his resurrection, the Dajjal's inability to harm others, and his destruction
Hadith 13008
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا طَوِيلًا عَنِ الدَّجَّالِ فَقَالَ فِيمَا يُحَدِّثُنَا قَالَ ”تَأْتِي الدَّجَّالُ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ نِقَابَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَيَخْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ أَوْ مِنْ خَيْرِهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ الدَّجَّالُ الَّذِي حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثَهُ فَيَقُولُ الدَّجَّالُ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ قَتَلْتُ هَذَا ثُمَّ أَحْيَيْتُهُ أَتَشُكُّونَ فِي الْأَمْرِ فَيَقُولُونَ لَا فَيَقْتُلُهُ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيهِ فَيَقُولُ حِينَ يَحْيَا وَاللَّهِ مَا كُنْتُ قَطُّ أَشَدَّ بَصِيرَةً فِيكَ مِنِّي الْآنَ قَالَ فَيُرِيدُ قَتْلَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ فَلَا يُسَلَّطُ عَلَيْهِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, narrated to us a lengthy hadith about the Dajjal, in which he, peace and blessings be upon him, also said: When the Dajjal comes, it will be forbidden for him to enter the paths of Madinah Munawwarah. The best man of that time will go to the Dajjal and say to him: I bear witness that you are indeed the Dajjal about whom the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, warned us. Hearing this, the Dajjal will say to the people: What do you think, if I kill this man and then bring him back to life, will you still have any doubt about me? They will say: No. So the Dajjal will kill that man and then bring him back to life. After being brought back to life, the man will say: By Allah! I now have more insight about your being the Dajjal than I had before. Then the Dajjal will try to kill him again, but he will not be able to kill him.
Hadith 13009
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي خَفْقَةٍ مِنَ الدِّينِ وَإِدْبَارٍ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَلَهُ أَرْبَعُونَ لَيْلَةً يَسِيحُهَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْيَوْمُ مِنْهَا كَالسَّنَةِ وَالْيَوْمُ مِنْهَا كَالشَّهْرِ وَالْيَوْمُ مِنْهَا كَالْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ سَائِرُ أَيَّامِهِ كَأَيَّامِكُمْ هَذِهِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Dajjal will emerge at a time when religion will be weak and knowledge will be taken away. At that time, the Dajjal will appear. He will remain for forty days; one of those days will be like a year, one day will be like a month, and one day will be like a week, and the remaining days will be like ordinary days.
Hadith 13010
وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”يَمْكُثُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً السَّنَةُ كَالشَّهْرِ وَالشَّهْرُ كَالْجُمُعَةِ وَالْجُمُعَةُ كَالْيَوْمِ وَالْيَوْمُ كَاضْطِرَامِ السَّعْفَةِ فِي النَّارِ“
It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Yazid, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The Dajjal will remain on the earth for forty years; one of his years will be like a month, one month like a week, one week like a day, and one day will be like the moment in which a dry leaf burns in the fire.
Hadith 13011
وَعَنْ مُجَمِّعِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”يَقْتُلُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ بِبَابِ لُدٍّ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Majma’ bin Jariyah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ‘Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, will kill the Masih Dajjal at the gate of Ludd.
