الخَوَارِجُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ مَنْ تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُهُمْ فِي عَصْرِ الإِمَامِ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وَيُقَالُ لَهُمُ الْحَرُورِيَّةُ أيضا
The Khawarij who are descendants of those previously mentioned in the era of Imam Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), also called Haruriyyah
Hadith 12827
عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْحَرُورِيَّةِ قَالَ أُحَدِّثُكَ مَا سَمِعْتُ لَا أَزِيدُكَ عَلَيْهِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ قَوْمًا ”يَخْرُجُونَ مِنْ هَهُنَا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْعِرَاقِ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ“ قُلْتُ هَلْ ذَكَرَ لَهُمْ عَلَامَةً قَالَ هَذَا مَا سَمِعْتُ لَا أَزِيدُكَ عَلَيْهِ
It is narrated from Yasir bin Amr, he says: I went to Sahl bin Hunaif (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Tell me any saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) which he said regarding the Haruriyyah." He said: I will narrate to you a hadith and I will not add anything from myself. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) indicating towards Iraq and saying: "From there, some people will emerge; they will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go below their throats, and they will go out of the religion just as an arrow swiftly passes through its prey." I asked: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mention any sign of those people? He said: Yes, I have heard only this much, I will not add anything to it.
Hadith 12828
وَعَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِذَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا فَلَأَنْ أَخِرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَحَبُّ مِنْ أَنْ أَكْذِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ عَنْ غَيْرِهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا رَجُلٌ مُحَارِبٌ وَالْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”يَخْرُجُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ أَقْوَامٌ أَحْدَاثُ الْأَسْنَانِ سُفَهَاءُ الْأَحْلَامِ يَقُولُونَ مِنْ قَوْلِ خَيْرِ الْبَرِيَّةِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ إِيمَانُهُمْ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ فَأَيْنَمَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ فَإِنْ قَتْلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ لِمَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: When I narrate to you any hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I would prefer to fall from the height of the sky rather than lie upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), but not lie. And when I narrate to you something from someone else, then remember that in those days I was in conflict with people, and conflict is called tricks and strategies. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: In the last era, some people will appear who will be young and of little understanding. They will narrate sayings of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), but their faith will not go beyond their throats. Wherever you find these people, kill them, because their killers will receive the reward for this killing on the Day of Resurrection.
Hadith 12829
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”سَيَخْرُجُ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ كُلَّمَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ قَرْنٌ قُطِعَ كُلَّمَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ قَرْنٌ قُطِعَ حَتَّى عَدَّهَا زِيَادَةً عَلَى عَشْرَةِ مَرَّاتٍ كُلَّمَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ قَرْنٌ قُطِعَ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ الدَّجَّالُ فِي بَقِيَّتِهِمْ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon, from the eastern direction, such people will appear in my Ummah who will recite the Holy Qur'an in a very beautiful manner, but it will not go beyond their throats. Whenever a generation of them appears, it will be killed. Then, when their generation comes to the fore, it too will be killed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned them in this way ten times (and on the last occasion said): Whenever their generation appears, it will be eliminated, until the Dajjal will appear among their remaining people.
Hadith 12830
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”يَخْرُجُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَوْمٌ يُسِيئُونَ الْأَعْمَالَ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ“ قَالَ يَزِيدُ أَحَدُ الرُّوَاةِ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ ”يَحْقِرُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَمَلَهُ مَعَ عَمَلِهِمْ يَقْتُلُونَ أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِذَا خَرَجُوا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَرَجُوا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَرَجُوا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ فَطُوبَى لِمَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ وَطُوبَى لِمَنْ قَتَلُوهُ كُلَّمَا طَلَعَ مِنْهُمْ قَرْنٌ قَطَعَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ“ فَرَدَّدَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً أَوْ أَكْثَرَ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: In my Ummah, there will arise a people of evil deeds, who will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. (Apparently, their deeds will be so good that) you will consider your own deeds insignificant compared to theirs. They will kill the people of Islam. When such people appear, you must kill them. After that, if they appear again, kill them. Then, if they appear again, kill them. There is glad tidings for the one who kills them, and glad tidings for the one who is killed by them. When their generation appears, Allah Almighty will destroy it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, repeated this statement twenty or even more times, and I kept listening.
