It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If the Day of Judgment is established and one of you has a small date palm sapling in his hand, if he is able to plant it before standing up, then he must certainly do so.

Hadith 12779
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My advent and the Hour are like these two fingers joined together. He then indicated by spreading his index and middle fingers.
Hadith 12780
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He says, I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he gestured with his two fingers and said: My sending and the Hour are this close to each other, just as this finger is with the other.
Hadith 12781
Sayyiduna Wahb Suwai reports, he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: My sending and the Hour are so closely connected as this finger is with the other finger. Indeed, it was near that the Hour would have been established before my sending. Then Imam A’mash joined his index finger and middle finger together and gestured.
Hadith 12782
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My sending and the Hour (Day of Judgment) have been joined together so closely that it was near that the Hour would precede me.
Hadith 12783
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of me and the nearness of the Hour is like these two fingers. With this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured by slightly separating the index finger (next to the thumb) and the middle finger. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of me and the nearness of the Hour is like two horses competing with each other. Then he said: The example of me and the nearness of the Hour is like a person whom his people have sent as their representative; when he fears that the enemy will overtake him, he waves his cloth to inform his people that the enemy has reached you, the enemy has reached you. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, I am that person.
Hadith 12784
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was standing in the plain of Arafat, and when the sun, at the time of sunset, appeared like a shield, he began to weep and wept profusely. A man standing near him said: O Abu Abdur Rahman! You have stood with me many times, but you have never done this before. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my mind, when he stood here in my place, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O people! The proportion of the remaining time of the world compared to the time that has passed is like the proportion of the remaining part of today compared to the part that has already passed.
Hadith 12785
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: A wolf came towards a shepherd and took away a goat from his flock. The shepherd chased after it and rescued the goat from it. The wolf climbed up a high mound, stood on its forelegs, sat on its haunches, and said: I intended to take the sustenance that Allah Almighty had granted me, but you snatched it away from me. The shepherd said: I have never seen such a sight until today, that a wolf speaks like humans. Hearing this, the wolf said: You are amazed at my words, but even more amazing is that between the two Harrahs, in the gardens of date palms, there is a man who tells people about matters of the past and the future. That shepherd was a Jew. When he came and narrated the entire incident to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, affirmed it and said: Animals speaking like humans is also among the signs of the Hour, and soon a time will come when a man will leave his house, and in his absence, whatever his family has done, upon his return, his shoes and staff will inform him of everything.
Hadith 12786
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I was present in the house of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with him, when a man came and said: O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) come? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: It will certainly be established, but what preparation have you made for it? He said: By Allah! I have not done many deeds for the Day of Judgment, but I do love Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You will be with those whom you love, and you will get what you hope for. After this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up for prayer, and when he finished the prayer, he asked: Where is the man who asked about the Hour? So he was brought, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards the house, and his gaze fell upon a boy from the family of Banu Daws of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), whose name was Sa’d bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If this boy lives, the Hour will come before he reaches old age. Hasan says: Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that the young man was his contemporary in those days.
Hadith 12787
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that a man came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked, "When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) come?" At that time, a young Ansari boy named Muhammad was present near the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). In response to his question, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If this youth remains alive, the Hour will be established before he becomes old."
Hadith 12788
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The earth-shaker has come, after it (an even more severe earthquake) is to come, indeed, death has come with all that it possesses.
