Hadith 12770
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”يَا عَائِشَةُ! بَيْتٌ لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ جِيَاعٌ أَهْلُهُ“، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: كَانَ سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَنْهُ (مسند أحمد:25972 )
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Aisha! The people of the house in which there are no dates are hungry.
Hadith 12771
وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”بَيْتٌ لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ كَأَنْ لَيْسَ فِيهِ طَعَامٌ“
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In a house where there are no dates, it is as if there is no food.
Hadith 12772
وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْمُزَنِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا وَصِيفٌ يَقُولُ ”الْعَجْوَةُ وَالشَّجَرَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ“
Sayyiduna Rafi’ bin Amr Muzani narrates that I was near puberty and I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The Ajwa and the date palm tree are from Paradise.
Hadith 12773
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِهِمْ وَهُمْ يَجْتَنُونَ أَرَاكًا فَأَعْطَاهُ رَجُلٌ جَنْيَ أَرَاكٍ فَقَالَ ”لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَوَضِّئًا أَكَلْتُهُ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah that people were picking the fruit of the pilu tree. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by there, and a man presented some picked pilu fruit to him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If I were in a state of ablution, I would have eaten it.
Hadith 12774
عَنْ أَبِي أَسِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”كُلُوا الزَّيْتَ وَادَّهِنُوا بِهِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Usaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Eat olive and apply it on your body, for indeed it is from a blessed tree.
