البابُ الأَوَّلُ فِيْمَا وَرَدَ فِي فَضَائِلِ بَعْضِ الْأَيَّامِ
The first chapter regarding what has come about the virtues of certain days
Hadith 12757
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”إِنَّ أَبْوَابَ الْجَنَّةِ تُفْتَحُ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَيَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ فَيُغْفَرُ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَخِيهِ شَحْنَاءُ فَيُقَالُ أَنْظِرُوهُمَا حَتَّى يَصْطَلِحَا مَرَّتَيْنِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every Monday and Thursday, the gates of the heavens are opened, and every servant who does not associate anything with Allah is forgiven on that day, except for those two Muslims who have enmity or hatred between them. It is said regarding them: "Defer the matter of these two until they reconcile with each other."
Hadith 12758
وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”إِنَّ أَعْمَالَ بَنِي آدَمَ تُعْرَضُ كُلَّ خَمِيسٍ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلَا يُقْبَلُ عَمَلُ قَاطِعِ رَحِمٍ“
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The deeds of the children of Adam are presented before Allah Almighty every Thursday, that is, on the night of Jumu'ah. The deeds of a person who severs ties of kinship are not accepted.
