Hadith 12746
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I know of a land called Oman, on one side of which flows the sea. There dwells an Arab tribe, if my envoy were to go to them, they would neither shoot arrows at him nor throw stones at him.
Hadith 12747
It is narrated from Hasan bin Hadiyah, he says: I met Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he said to me: From which people are you? I said: I am from the people of Oman. He said: From the people of Oman? I said: Yes! He said: Shall I narrate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? I said: Please do. He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I know of a place called Oman, by the side of which flows the sea; performing one Hajj from there is better than performing two Hajj from other places.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a man as a representative to an Arab tribe. The people of that tribe beat him and spoke harshly to him. Hadith 12749
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Twelve thousand people will emerge from Aden Abyan who will help Allah and His Messenger. Among all the people between me and them, they will be the most virtuous. Mu'ammar said to me: Go and ask about this hadith.
