الْبَابُ الأَوَّلُ وَمَا جَاءَ فِي فَضَائِلِ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْحِجَازِ
The first chapter and what has come about the virtues of the Arabian Peninsula and the Hijaz
Hadith 12712
عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”لَأُخْرِجَنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ حَتَّى لَا أَدَعَ إِلَّا مُسْلِمًا“
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that it is reported from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula to such an extent that only Muslims will remain here.

Hadith 12714
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”يَا عَلِيُّ إِنْ أَنْتَ وُلِّيتَ الْأَمْرَ بَعْدُ فَأَخْرِجْ أَهْلَ نَجْرَانَ مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Ali! If you attain leadership after me, then expel the people of Najran from the Arabian Peninsula.
Hadith 12715
وَعَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ آخِرُ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”أَخْرِجُوا يَهُودَ أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ وَأَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ شِرَارَ النَّاسِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the last words of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) were: Expel the Jews of Najran from the Arabian Peninsula, and remember that the worst people are those who made the graves of their prophets places of prostration.
Hadith 12716
عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ”الْإِيمَانُ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ وَغِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ فِي أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: True faith is among the people of Hijaz, and the hardness and severity of hearts is among the owners of camels of the East.
