Hadith 12660
عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَأَبْصَرَ جُدْرَانَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَوْضَعَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، فَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ حَرَّكَهَا مِنْ حُبِّهَا.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, returned from a journey and his gaze fell upon the walls of Madinah, due to his love for Madinah, he would urge his she-camel to move faster, and if he was riding another animal, he would also make it move faster.
Hadith 12661
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ”لَتَفْتَحَنَّ عِصَابَةٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَوْ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كَنْزَ آلِ كِسْرَى، الَّذِي فِي الْأَبْيَضِ“، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: ”إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَيْبَةَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A group of Muslims or believers will conquer the treasures present in the white palaces of the family of Kisra. Also, Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that Allah Almighty has named Madinah Munawwarah as Tayyibah.
Hadith 12662
وَعَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَقَالَ: ”هِيَ طَيْبَةُ“
It is narrated from Sayyida Fatima bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned Madinah Munawwarah and said: This is Tayyibah.
Hadith 12663
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”أُمِرْتُ بِقَرْيَةٍ تَأْكُلُ الْقُرَى يَقُولُونَ: يَثْرِبُ وَهِيَ الْمَدِينَةُ، تَنْفِي النَّاسَ كَمَا يَنْفِي الْكِيرُ خَبَثَ الْحَدِيدِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been commanded to migrate to a town which will consume all other towns, that is, it will surpass all in virtue and rank. People call it Yathrib, but it is Madinah. It will expel the hypocrites and wicked people just as a furnace removes impurities from iron.
Hadith 12664
عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ”مَنْ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ يَثْرِبَ فَلْيَسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، هِيَ طَابَةُ هِيَ طَابَةُ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever refers to Madinah Munawwarah by the name of Yathrib, let him seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty; it is Taabah, its name is Taabah.
