مَا جَاءَ فِي نَجْرَانَ وَبَنِي تَغْلَبَ وَثَقِيفِ وَبَنيْ حنیفة
What has come about Najran, Banu Taghlib, Thaqif, and Banu Hanifah
Hadith 12584
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”شَرُّ قَبِيلَتَيْنِ فِي الْعَرَبِ نَجْرَانُ وَبَنُو تَغْلِبَ وَأَكْثَرُ الْقَبَائِلِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَذْحِجٌ وَمَاكُولٌ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah Salami, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Najran and Banu Taghlib, these two tribes are the worst among the Arabs, and in Paradise, the people of Banu Madhhij and Banu Makool will be the most numerous.
Hadith 12585
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبْغَضَ النَّاسِ أَوْ أَبْغَضَ الْأَحْيَاءِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَقِيفٌ وَبَنُو حَنِيفَةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) had the greatest aversion towards Banu Thaqif and Banu Hanifah.
