Hadith 12412
عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَدْعُونَا إِلَى السَّحُورِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ”هَلُمُّوا إِلَى الْغَذَاءِ الْمُبَارَكِ“ ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ”اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِسَابَ وَقِهِ الْعَذَابَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Irbadh bin Sariyah Salmi, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, inviting us to the pre-dawn meal (suhoor) in the month of Ramadan, saying: Come to the blessed meal. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Allah! Grant Muawiyah knowledge of the Book and accounting, and protect him from punishment.
Hadith 12413
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرَةَ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَقَالَ ”اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا وَاهْدِ بِهِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Umairah Azdi that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), mentioning Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), said: O Allah! Make him a guide and one who is guided, and grant guidance to people through him.
