Hadith 12401
حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَمَثَّلُ بِي“ قَالَ عَاصِمٌ قَالَ أَبِي فَحَدَّثَنِيهِ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ أَنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتَهُ قُلْتُ إِي وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ قَدْ ذَكَرْتُهُ وَنَعَتُّهُ فِي مِشْيَتِهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّهُ كَانَ يُشْبِهُهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me, for Satan cannot take my form. Asim says: My father said: When Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, narrated this same hadith to me, I said: I have seen the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, in a dream. He asked: Did you really see him? I replied: Yes, by Allah! I saw him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and I mentioned the name of Hasan ibn Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, resembled him, and I also described his manner of walking. Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: Sayyiduna Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him, resembles the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
Hadith 12402
عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَيَالٍ وَعَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَمْشِي إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَمَرَّ بِحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ غِلْمَانٍ فَاحْتَمَلَهُ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ وَأَبِي شَبَهُ النَّبِيِّ لَيْسَ شَبِيهًا بِعَلِيٍّ قَالَ وَعَلِيٌّ يَضْحَكُ
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Harith, he says: A few nights after the passing of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), one day after the Asr prayer, I went out with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was also walking alongside him. Meanwhile, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them), who was playing with the children. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) lifted him onto his neck and said: "Bravo! May my father be sacrificed for him, he resembles the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he does not resemble his father Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)." Hearing this, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) smiled.
Hadith 12403
عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ أَشْبَهَ النَّاسِ بِهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) resembled Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) more than anyone else among the people.
Hadith 12404
عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ كَانَتْ فَاطِمَةُ تَنْقُزُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ وَتَقُولُ بِأَبِي شَبَهُ النَّبِيِّ لَيْسَ شَبِيهًا بِعَلِيٍّ
Ibn Abi Mulaykah says that when Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) would lovingly toss Sayyiduna Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), she used to say: "May my father be sacrificed for you, he resembles the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he does not resemble Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)."
Hadith 12405
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ أَشْبَهُ النَّاسِ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ الصَّدْرِ إِلَى الرَّأْسِ وَالْحُسَيْنُ أَشْبَهُ النَّاسِ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا كَانَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) most closely resembled the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from the chest up, and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) most closely resembled him from the chest down.
