It is narrated from Hasan bin Abi Hasan, he says: I entered the mosque and saw that Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting, leaning on his cloak. Meanwhile, two men who used to serve water to the people came to him to resolve a dispute between them. He decided between them. After that, I came to him and looked at him attentively. What I saw was that he was a man with a beautiful face, there were some marks of smallpox on his cheeks, and his hair covered his arms.

It is narrated from ‘Abad bin Zahir, he says: I heard Sayyiduna ‘Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) delivering a sermon, he said: “By Allah! We had the honor of being in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during travel and at home. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit our sick, attend our funerals, fight alongside us, and whether something was little or much, he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to include us in it. Now some people teach me things about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), even though it is possible that some of them have not even seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).”
