Hadith 12176
(وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا) قَالَ قِيلَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَا خَلِيفَةَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَنَا خَلِيفَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا رَاضٍ بِهِ وَأَنَا رَاضٍ بِهِ وَأَنَا رَاضٍ بِهِ
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Makkiyah that he said: Someone said to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him: O Caliph of Allah! So he replied: I am the Caliph of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I am content with that, I am content with that.
