Hadith 12171
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”أَلَا إِنِّي أَبْرَأُ إِلَى كُلِّ خَلِيلٍ مِنْ خُلَّتِهِ وَلَوِ اتَّخَذْتُ خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ خَلِيلًا إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ خَلِيلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Beware! I disassociate myself from the intimacy and deep friendship of every close friend. If I were to take anyone as a close friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr. Indeed, this companion of yours is the friend of Allah Almighty.
Hadith 12172
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”مَا نَفَعَنِي مَالٌ قَطُّ مَا نَفَعَنِي مَالُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ“ فَبَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَقَالَ هَلْ أَنَا وَمَالِي إِلَّا لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No one’s wealth has benefited me as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr has benefited me. Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, wept with joy and said: O Messenger of Allah! I and my wealth, everything belongs to you.
Hadith 12173
عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي الْغَارِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَنَحْنُ فِي الْغَارِ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ نَظَرَ إِلَى قَدَمَيْهِ لَأَبْصَرَنَا تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ ”يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ مَا ظَنُّكَ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that it is reported from Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the cave and the enemy was standing at the mouth of the cave, I said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): If any one of them looks down towards his feet, he will see us beneath his feet. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What do you think about those two, with whom the third is Allah?
Hadith 12174
عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى جَيْشِ ذَاتِ السَّلَاسِلِ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ ”عَائِشَةُ“ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَمِنَ الرِّجَالِ قَالَ ”أَبُوهَا“ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ ”عُمَرُ“ قَالَ فَعَدَّ رِجَالًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me for the expedition of Dhat al-Salasil. When I returned from it, I presented myself before him and said: O Messenger of Allah! Among the people, whom do you love the most? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Aisha. I asked: And among the men? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Her father. I asked: Then who? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Umar. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the names of a few more men.
