Hadith 12093
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”هَلَاكُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى يَدِ غِلْمَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ“ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ وَهُوَ مَعَنَا فِي الْحَلْقَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَلِيَ شَيْئًا فَلَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَةً قَالَ وَأَمَّا وَاللَّهِ لَوْ أَشَاءُ أَقُولُ بَنُو فُلَانٍ وَبَنُو فُلَانٍ لَفَعَلْتُ قَالَ فَقُمْتُ أَخْرُجُ أَنَا مَعَ أَبِي وَجَدِّي إِلَى مَرْوَانَ بَعْدَمَا مُلِّكُوا فَإِذَا هُمْ يُبَايِعُونَ الصِّبْيَانَ مِنْهُمْ وَمَنْ يُبَايِعُ لَهُ وَهُوَ فِي خِرْقَةٍ قَالَ لَنَا هَلْ عَسَى أَصْحَابُكُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ أَنْ يَكُونُوا الَّذِينَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ هَذِهِ الْمُلُوكَ يُشْبِهُ بَعْضُهَا بَعْضًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The destruction of my Ummah will be at the hands of the youths of Quraysh. At that time, Marwan was also present with us in that study circle and he had not yet attained rulership. Upon hearing this, he said: May Allah's curse be upon those youths. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah! If I wished, I could state and tell who they will be, that is, the Banu so-and-so and Banu so-and-so. That is, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) was also aware of the names of their tribes and families. Later, when Marwan's family came to power, I went with my father and grandfather to Marwan; he was taking allegiance for his sons and those pledging allegiance were also youths. Marwan was dressed in royal attire. He said to us: I heard Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioning that these kings resemble one another.
Hadith 12094
عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ ظَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ الصَّادِقَ الْمَصْدُوقَ يَقُولُ ”إِنَّ هَلَاكَ أُمَّتِي أَوْ فَسَادَ أُمَّتِي رُؤُوسٌ أُمَرَاءُ أُغَيْلِمَةٌ سُفَهَاءُ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that Abu al-Qasim, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said—while he, peace and blessings be upon him, is truthful and has been affirmed—he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The destruction and corruption of my Ummah will be at the hands of the foolish young rulers of the Quraysh.
Hadith 12095
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ رَأْسِ السَّبْعِينَ وَإِمَارَةِ الصِّبْيَانِ“
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: Seek Allah's refuge from the era after seventy years and from the rule of boys.
Hadith 12096
عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَهْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كَلِمَتَيْنِ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلِمَةً وَمِنَ النَّجَاشِيِّ أُخْرَى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”انْظُرُوا قُرَيْشًا فَخُذُوا مِنْ قَوْلِهِمْ وَذَرُوا فِعْلَهُمْ“ وَكُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّجَاشِيِّ جَالِسًا فَجَاءَ ابْنُهُ مِنَ الْكُتَّابِ فَقَرَأَ آيَةً مِنَ الْإِنْجِيلِ فَعَرَفْتُهَا أَوْ فَهِمْتُهَا فَضَحِكْتُ فَقَالَ مِمَّ تَضْحَكُ أَمِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَلَى عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ أَنَّ اللَّعْنَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِذَا كَانَ أُمَرَاؤُهَا الصِّبْيَانَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amir bin Shahr (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I heard two special things, one from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the other from Najashi. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Keep an eye on the Quraysh, you must accept their words but abandon their actions. And I was sitting with Najashi when his son came with a book, he recited a verse from the Gospel, I understood it and I laughed. Najashi said: What are you laughing at? Are you laughing after hearing the Book of Allah? By Allah! Among the things that were revealed to Jesus son of Mary was this: When there are young rulers in the world, a curse will descend upon the earth.
