It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin man, whose name was Zahir, used to bring gifts from the villages to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Upon his return, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would also give him something in return. One day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Zahir is our villager and we are his townsfolk." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved him very much. He was not handsome. One day, he was selling his goods when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to him. He did not see, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) caught him from behind and enclosed him in his arms. He began to say: "Let me go, who is it?" He turned around and recognized the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Now he tried to press his back firmly against the blessed chest of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to say: "Who will buy this slave?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah! By Allah, you will find me of little value." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "But with Allah, you are not of little value; rather, with Allah, your value is very great."
