Hadith 11668
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”نِمْتُ فَرَأَيْتُنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ قَارِئٍ يَقْرَأُ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا قَالُوا هَذَا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ“ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”كَذَاكَ الْبِرُّ كَذَاكَ الْبِرُّ“ وَكَانَ أَبَرَّ النَّاسِ بِأُمِّهِ
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I slept and in a dream I saw myself in Paradise, and I heard the voice of a man reciting the Qur'an there. I asked, "Who is this?" The angels replied, "This is Haritha bin Nu'man." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding this companion: This is the outcome of good conduct, this is the outcome of good conduct. This companion was the one who treated his mother with the best conduct among the people.
Hadith 11669
عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ مَرَرْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ جَالِسٌ فِي الْمَقَاعِدِ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَجَزْتُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ وَانْصَرَفَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”هَلْ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِي كَانَ مَعِي“ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ ”فَإِنَّهُ جِبْرِيلُ وَقَدْ رَدَّ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Haritha bin Nu’man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting with Jibreel (peace be upon him) at the place called Al-Maqa’id (near the mosque). I passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), greeted him with salam, and went ahead. When I returned and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also returned from there, he said: Did you see the man who was sitting with me? I replied: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That was Jibreel (peace be upon him), and he replied to your salam.
