It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said approximately one month before his passing: Today, from among all the souls present on the face of the earth, not a single one of them will remain alive after one hundred years.

It is narrated from Naeem bin Dajanah that Abu Mas’ud Uqbah bin Amr Ansari went to Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, and Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said to him: Do you say that after a hundred years have passed over the people, not a single eye among them will blink (i.e., the Day of Judgment will be established and no person will remain alive)? Whereas in reality, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said that today, whoever’s eye is blinking on the face of the earth, that is, whoever human is alive today, after a hundred years from today, not a single one of them will remain alive. By Allah! The real era of prosperity for this Ummah will be after a hundred years as well.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the ‘Isha prayer one night towards the end of his life, and then stood up and said: Tonight, whoever living being is present on the face of this earth, after one hundred years, not a single one of them will remain alive. Sayyiduna Abdullah (bin Umar) (may Allah be pleased with him) says that upon hearing this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), everyone was left astonished and began to discuss various things regarding the ahadith related to one hundred years, whereas the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had said that those people who are present on the face of the earth today, after one hundred years, not a single one of them will remain alive, meaning this generation and era will come to an end.

Abu Aqil Zahra Qureshi narrated that his grandfather, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Hisham (may Allah be pleased with him), reached puberty during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and also married women.

It is narrated from Zuhri, he says: Sayyiduna Mahmood bin Lubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that he visited the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and (he understood this visit well, to the extent that) he even noticed that there was a bucket in his house. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rinsed his mouth with it, and the water from the rinsing was sprinkled on his face.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was present with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the incident of Li’an that occurred in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The husband and wife had performed Li’an with each other, and at that time I was fifteen years old. The husband who performed Li’an said: O Messenger of Allah! If I now keep my wife with me, then it is as if I have falsely accused her. Then the woman who performed Li’an gave birth to a child with such features that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a man wishes to return (to intercourse) after having done it once, he should perform ablution. Sufyan said: Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id remained alive until after the Battle of Harrah.

It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had decided that profit is in exchange for guarantee. Abdullah says that my father, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (peace and blessings be upon him), said: I heard from Qaran bin Tamam in 181 AH; in that year, Imam Ibn Mubarak was alive, but then in the same year he passed away.

It is narrated from Sharjeel bin Muslim Khawlani, he says: I had the honor of meeting seven such individuals, of whom five were those who had the distinction of the companionship of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and two were such men who did not attain the honor of the companionship of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); in the pre-Islamic era of ignorance, they used to drink the blood flowing from the bodies of animals. Their names are Abu Uqbah Khawlani and Abu Salih Anmari.
