Hadith 11597
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ فَقَالَ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah Almighty looked upon the people of Badr and said: Do whatever you wish, I have forgiven you.
Hadith 11598
عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”لَنْ يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ رَجُلٌ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of those who participated in Badr and Hudaybiyyah will ever enter Hell.
Hadith 11599
عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَوْ مَلَكًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا تَعُدُّونَ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا فِيكُمْ قَالُوا ”خِيَارَنَا“ قَالَ كَذَلِكَ هُمْ عِنْدَنَا خِيَارُنَا مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi‘ bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that Jibril (peace be upon him) or another angel came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: What is the status of the people of Badr among you? The noble Companions said: They are the most virtuous and best among us. The angel said: It is the same with us; the angels who participated in Badr are better and more virtuous than the rest of the angels.
Hadith 11600
عَنْ حَفْصَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ“ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ {وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا} [مريم: 71] قَالَتْ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ”ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا وَنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا“ [مريم: 72]
It is narrated from Sayyida Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: I hope that none of those who participated in Badr and Hudaybiyyah will, insha’Allah, enter Hell. Sayyida Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I said: Is it not that Allah Almighty has said: {وَاِنْ مِنْکُمْ اِلَّا وَارِدُھَا} … And there is none of you except he will come to it (Hell)? She says: Then I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) recite further: {ثُمَّ نُنْجِی الَّذِیْنَ اتَّقَوْا وَنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِیْنَ فِیْہَا جِثِیَّا} … Then We will save those who feared Allah, and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.
Hadith 11601
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ قَالَ ”لَا تُوقِدُوا نَارًا بِلَيْلٍ“ قَالَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ ”أَوْقِدُوا وَاصْطَنِعُوا فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُدْرِكُ قَوْمٌ بَعْدَكُمْ صَاعَكُمْ وَلَا مُدَّكُمْ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of Hudaybiyyah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) ordered that no fire should be lit at night (so that the enemy would not estimate our numbers). Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) says that later, when the situation became peaceful, the Prophet gave general permission that whenever you wish, you may light a fire and prepare food. Indeed, the reality is that no nation after you will be able to reach your sa' and mudd.
Hadith 11602
عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ امْرَأَةِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَتْ جَاءَ غُلَامُ حَاطِبٍ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يَدْخُلُ حَاطِبٌ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”كَذَبْتَ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ“
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Mubashshir, the wife of Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with her), that the slave of Sayyiduna Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) came and said: By Allah! Hatib will not enter Paradise. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You are wrong, he has participated in Badr and Hudaybiyyah.
Hadith 11603
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ”لَا يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ مِمَّنْ بَايَعَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: None of those who pledged allegiance under the tree (at Hudaybiyyah) will enter Hell.
Hadith 11604
عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّ عِدَّةَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانُوا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ عَلَى عِدَّةِ أَصْحَابِ طَالُوتَ يَوْمَ جَالُوتَ ثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ وَبِضْعَةَ عَشَرَ الَّذِينَ جَاوَزُوا مَعَهُ النَّهْرَ قَالَ وَلَمْ يُجَاوِزْ مَعَهُ النَّهْرَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We used to say that on the day of Badr, the number of the noble Companions was the same as the number of Talut’s companions on the day of Jalut, that is, three hundred and fourteen or fifteen individuals, who crossed the river with Talut, and only the believers crossed the river.
Hadith 11605
عَنْ بِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ مَا أَخْبِيَةٌ بَعْدَ أَخْبِيَةٍ كَانَتْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَدْرٍ مَا يُدْفَعُ عَنْهُمْ مَا يُدْفَعُ عَنْ أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْأَخْبِيَةِ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِهِمْ قَوْمٌ سُوءًا إِلَّا أَتَاهُمْ مَا يَشْغَلُهُمْ عَنْهُ
It is narrated from Bilal Absi that Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The tents that were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Badr—where are such tents now? The honor and status of the people of Badr cannot be attained by the people of any other tents. Whoever intended evil against the people of Badr, Allah seized him in such a way that he remained trapped in it.
