It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In the Hereafter, a person will be with the one whom he loves. Also, before his passing, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had written letters to Kisra, Caesar, and all the tyrants.

Qatadah narrates: He says, I met Mirthad bin Zubyan, who said: A letter from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us, and we could not find anyone who could read it out to us. Eventually, a man from Banu Zubay‘ah read the letter, and it contained the following: From the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to Abu Bakr bin Wa’il: Accept Islam, you will be safe.
Hadith 11500
It is narrated from Abu Alaa bin Shakheer, he says: I was with Mutarrif at the camel market when a Bedouin came to Mutarrif. He had a piece of leather with him. He said: Can any of you read this? I said: Yes. He handed it to me and I saw that it was written in it: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. From Allah’s Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to the branch of the tribe of ‘Ukl, Banu Zuhair. If these people bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, and they separate themselves from the polytheists, and they acknowledge regarding the fifth of the spoils of war that it belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and that Allah’s Messenger may take from the spoils of war whatever he wishes before its distribution, then they will be granted protection from Allah and His Messenger. Upon hearing this, some people said to him: Can you narrate to us something you heard from Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: Yes. The people said: May Allah have mercy on you, please tell us. He said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever wishes that anger and malice be removed from his chest, he should fast the month of patience, that is, Ramadan, and three days of every month. Upon hearing this, some people said: Did you yourself hear this from Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: Beware! I think, I believe that you people are suspicious about me in this matter, that perhaps by saying this I have fabricated a lie against Allah’s Messenger. You have become afraid upon hearing this. By Allah! I will not narrate any more hadith to you. After that, he went on his way.

(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Yazid bin Abdullah bin Shakhir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were sitting in the animal enclosure when a Bedouin came to us; then the narration continues similar to the previous hadith.
Hadith 11502
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Hudhafah (may Allah be pleased with him) with his letter to Kisra. He handed over that letter to the ruler of Bahrain so that he could deliver it to Kisra. Thus, the ruler of Bahrain delivered that letter to Kisra. When he read the letter, he tore it up. Sa'id bin Musayyib (peace and blessings be upon him) also narrated that because of this action, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) invoked a curse upon them that (they be destroyed in such a way that) they be torn to pieces.
Hadith 11503
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Kisra (the Persian emperor) is destroyed, there will be no Kisra to succeed him, and when Caesar (the Roman emperor) is destroyed, there will be no Caesar after him, meaning their kingdoms will come to an end. By Allah! You will certainly, certainly spend their treasures in the way of Allah.
Hadith 11504
Amr bin Auf narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, granted Sayyiduna Bilal bin Harith, may Allah be pleased with him, the mines of the Qabliya region as a fief. He gave him all the high and low lands of that place and whatever was cultivable in the Quds mountain, all of it was given to him, while the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not give him the right of any Muslim. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wrote this document in his favor: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is the land which Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, has given to Bilal bin Harith Muzani. He, peace and blessings be upon him, has given him the mines of the Qabliya region, the high and low lands of that place, and whatever is cultivable in the Quds mountain, all of it has been given to him, while it was not the right of any Muslim that was given to him.

Hadith 11506
Harith bin Muslim bin Harith Tamimi narrates from his father that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote a document for him, in which he mentioned the names of the caliphs to come after him, making a bequest in their favor and sealed it.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Please write a document in my favor regarding such-and-such lands of the land of Syria, even though that land had not yet come into the possession of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Upon this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the companions: Do you hear what he is saying? Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By the One in Whose hand is my soul, you will surely become the owner of that land. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote a document for him regarding that land. Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, O Messenger of Allah! Our area is a hunting area, I send my trained and untrained dogs towards the hunt, please guide me regarding this. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you send your trained dog towards the hunt and mention the name of Allah before sending, then whatever animal your trained dog brings to you, you may eat it, even if it has died. And if you send your untrained dog towards the hunt and it brings an animal to you, then if you slaughter it yourself, you may eat it. And whatever prey your arrow strikes, even if that thing dies, then mention the name of Allah and eat it. Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said: O Prophet of Allah! Our area is of the People of the Book, those people eat the flesh of swine and drink wine. How can we use their utensils? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you do not find any other utensils besides theirs, then wash them thoroughly and you may cook in them and drink from them. Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Which animals are lawful for us and which are unlawful? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You cannot eat domestic donkeys and predatory animals with fangs.
Hadith 11507
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote an agreement between the Muhajirun and the Ansar that they would pay each other's blood money, and they would pay the recognized ransom to free their captives, and they would strive for reconciliation among the Muslims.
Hadith 11508
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the time of the Messenger of Allah’s (peace and blessings be upon him) passing drew near, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Come, let me write something for you, after which you will never go astray.” At that time, Sayyiduna Umar ibn Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) and other people were present in the house. Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is overcome by pain. You have the Qur’an with you; the Book of Allah is sufficient for us.” The people present in the house then differed over this and began to argue. Some said, “Let the Messenger of Allah write for you what he wishes to write,” while others supported the statement of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). When their disagreement and noise increased greatly and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became saddened, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “All of you leave from here.” Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that the greatest calamity was that disagreement and noise which came between the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his writing.
Hadith 11509
It is narrated from Ibn Alaa Hadhrami that his father sent a letter to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), in which he began with himself.
