Hadith 11404
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the command of veiling had already been revealed. After that, Sayyida Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) went out at night to relieve herself. She was quite large in stature and her height was considerable. On the way, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met her. When he saw her, he called out loudly: "Sawda! By Allah! When you come out, you cannot remain hidden from us. Now see how you should go out or what you should do." She returned from there. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was having his dinner at night. She came and informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) of what Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had said and complained. The bone with meat was still in the hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when revelation began to descend upon him. After the revelation ceased, the bone was still in his hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Now you have been permitted to go out of your house for your needs."
Hadith 11405
Narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to travel, he would draw lots among his wives, and the one in whose favor the lot was drawn, he would take her along. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to allocate the night and day for each of his wives, except for Sayyida Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her), because she had gifted her day and night to Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). The purpose of Sayyida Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) was to seek the pleasure of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 11406
Hisham narrates from his father (Urwah) that Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) stated that Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her), when she became elderly, gifted her turn to me, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to give me the day that was allotted to her as well. After the marriage to Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), she was the first wife who entered the marriage of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
