Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ‘Umrah along with Hajj on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took the sacrificial animal with him from Dhul-Hulaifah. During Ihram, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) first recited the Talbiyah for ‘Umrah and then for Hajj, and the people also performed ‘Umrah along with Hajj in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Some people took the sacrificial animal with them, but some did not have sacrificial animals. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Makkah, he said to the people: “Those who have the sacrificial animal with them, whatever has become unlawful due to Ihram will not become lawful for them until the Hajj is completed. But those who do not have the sacrificial animal with them, after performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, should cut their hair and come out of Ihram. Then they will enter Ihram separately for Hajj and offer sacrifice. Whoever does not have the ability to offer sacrifice should fast three days during the days of Hajj and seven days after returning home.” Then, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Makkah, he performed Tawaf of the House of Allah, first kissed the Black Stone, then in the first three of the seven circuits around the House of Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) walked briskly, and in the remaining four, he walked at a normal pace. After completing the Tawaf, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered two rak‘ahs near Maqam Ibrahim, and when he finished with the salam, he went to Safa, performed the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and nothing that had become unlawful due to Ihram became lawful for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until the Hajj was completed. On the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the sacrifice and performed Tawaf of the House of Allah. After that, everything that had become unlawful due to Ihram became lawful for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Those who had brought sacrificial animals with them also performed the same actions as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed.

Hadith 11368
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah while riding his camel and touched the Black Stone with his staff. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the place where Zamzam water was being served and said: "Give me some to drink." They said: "This water is affected by people; we will bring you (clean) water from home." But he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no need for that; give me to drink from where the people are drinking."
