بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي عِبَادَاتِهِ ﷺ
Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding His ﷺ Acts of Worship
Hadith 11358
عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخُصُّ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ يَعْنِي بِالْعِبَادَةِ قَالَتْ كَانَ عَمَلُهُ دِيمَةً وَأَيُّكُمْ كَانَ يُطِيقُ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطِيقُ
It is narrated from Alqamah that he asked Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to specify particular days for worship. She replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not specify or appoint particular days for worship; the actions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were continuous. Who among you has the ability to do as much as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had the ability to do?
