Hadith 11262

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”مَا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيَّ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَبَعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Every prophet was given such miracles and signs that people believed in him because of them, and what has been given to me is only Revelation , Allah Almighty has revealed to me, and I hope that on the Day of Resurrection, the number of my followers will be the greatest.
Hadith 11263
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ أُمَّتَكَ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ بَعْدَكَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَأَيْنَ الْمَخْرَجُ يَا جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ فَقَالَ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى بِهِ يَقْصِمُ اللَّهُ كُلَّ جَبَّارٍ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِهِ نَجَا وَمَنْ تَرَكَهُ هَلَكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ قَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ وَلَيْسَ بِالْهَزْلِ لَا تَخْتَلِقُهُ الْأَلْسُنُ وَلَا تَفْنَى أَعَاجِيبُهُ فِيهِ نَبَأُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَفَصْلُ مَا بَيْنَكُمْ وَخَبَرُ مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ بَعْدَكُمْ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and said: O Muhammad! After you, your Ummah will fall into discord. I asked: O Jibreel! What is the way out of this discord? He said: The Book of Allah. Allah, the Exalted, breaks the pride of every rebellious one through it. Whoever holds fast to it will attain salvation, and whoever abandons it will be destroyed. He said this sentence twice. All of it is truth; there is no mixture of falsehood in it. Tongues cannot produce speech like it. Its wonders and secrets never end. In it are the stories of those before you, the judgments regarding the disputes among you, and the news of what will happen after you. The meaning of "it is only revelation" is that the highest degree of miracle is only revelation, i.e., the Noble Qur’an; the rest of your (peace and blessings be upon him) miracles are of a lesser degree.
