بَابُ فِي بَعْضِ مَا وَرَدَ فِي فَضْلِهِ ﷺ
Chapter on Some of What Has Been Reported Regarding His ﷺ Virtues
Hadith 11108
عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ كُنْتُ إِمَامَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَخَطِيبَهُمْ وَصَاحِبَ شَفَاعَتِهِمْ وَلَا فَخْرَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the Day of Resurrection comes, I will be the leader of the Prophets and their speaker, and I will be the one who intercedes for them, while I do not take pride in this.
Hadith 11109
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”فَضَّلَنِي رَبِّي عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ عَلَيْهِمُ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ أَوْ قَالَ عَلَى الْأُمَمِ بِأَرْبَعٍ“ قَالَ ”أُرْسِلْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً وَجُعِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ كُلُّهَا لِي وَلِأُمَّتِي مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا فَأَيْنَمَا أَدْرَكَتْ رَجُلًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي الصَّلَاةُ فَعِنْدَهُ مَسْجِدُهُ وَعِنْدَهُ طَهُورُهُ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ يَقْذِفُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ أَعْدَائِي وَأَحَلَّ لَنَا الْغَنَائِمَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My Lord has given me superiority over the rest of the Prophets (or the rest of the nations) in four things: I have been sent to all people, the entire surface of the earth has been made a place of prostration and a means of purification for me and my Ummah, for any person, wherever the time of prayer comes, his mosque and means of purification are right there with him, Allah has helped me through awe and fear, when I am still a month’s journey away from the enemy, Allah casts my awe into the hearts of my enemies, and He has made the spoils of war lawful for us.
Hadith 11110
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَيِّدُ وُلْدِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: On the Day of Resurrection, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, will be the leader of all the children of Adam.
Hadith 11111
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”مَا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيَّ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَبَعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Every prophet was given such miracles and signs that people believed in him because of them. What has been given to me is revelation; Allah Almighty has revealed to me. I hope that on the Day of Resurrection, the number of my followers will be the greatest.
Hadith 11112
عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”أُوتِيتُ بِمَقَالِيدِ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى فَرَسٍ أَبْلَقَ عَلَيْهِ قَطِيفَةٌ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (It was shown to me as if) there is a beautiful horse, upon it is fine silk of exquisite quality, and upon it are placed the keys to the treasures of the whole world, and they have been granted to me.
Hadith 11113
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمٌ لَأَنْ يَرَانِي ثُمَّ لَأَنْ يَرَانِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَمِثْلِهِمْ مَعَهُمْ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Surely a day will come upon you when you will wish to see me but you will not be able to see me. At that time, seeing me and meeting me will be more beloved to a person than his family and wealth, and even more than that much again.
Hadith 11114
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ عَلَيَّ فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ“ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْوَسِيلَةُ قَالَ ”أَعْلَى دَرَجَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَا يَنَالُهَا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ وَاحِدٌ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When you send blessings upon me, then also ask Allah to grant me the Station of Wasila. It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is Wasila? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: It is a very exalted rank, which will be given to only one person in the entire creation; I hope that I will be that person.
