Hadith 10970
عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ فَلَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ التَّابِعَةُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا تُنْفِقُ الْمَرْأَةُ شَيْئًا مِنْ بَيْتِهَا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا الطَّعَامَ قَالَ ذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ أَمْوَالِنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَارِيَةُ مُؤَدَّاةٌ وَالْمِنْحَةُ مَرْدُودَةٌ وَالدَّيْنُ مَقْضِيٌّ وَالزَّعِيمُ غَارِمٌ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say in the sermon on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage: Allah Almighty has given every rightful person his due right, so now no bequest can be made in favor of an heir. The child will be attributed to the one on whose bed, that is, in whose house he is born, and the punishment for the adulterer is stoning, and their real reckoning is with Allah. Whoever claims to be the son of anyone other than his real father, or attributes himself to anyone other than his real masters, upon him will be the curse of Allah continuously until the Day of Resurrection. No woman should spend anything from her house without her husband's permission. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Even food? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That is the most precious of our possessions. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is necessary to return a borrowed item, and if someone has given a milch animal as a gift so that you may drink its milk, it is also necessary to return such an animal, repayment of a loan is also necessary, and whoever stands as a guarantor for someone, then instead of the original, this person is indebted, meaning if that person does not pay, then the guarantor is bound to pay it.
Hadith 10971
عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ حَمْرَاءَ مُخَضْرَمَةٍ فَقَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ أَيُّ يَوْمٍ يَوْمُكُمْ هَذَا قَالَ قُلْنَا يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ قَالَ صَدَقْتُمْ يَوْمُ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ أَتَدْرُونَ أَيُّ شَهْرٍ شَهْرُكُمْ هَذَا قُلْنَا ذُو الْحِجَّةِ قَالَ صَدَقْتُمْ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْأَصَمُّ أَتَدْرُونَ أَيُّ بَلَدٍ بَلَدُكُمْ هَذَا قَالَ قُلْنَا الْمَشْعَرُ الْحَرَامُ قَالَ صَدَقْتُمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا (أَوْ قَالَ) كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا وَشَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا وَبَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا وَإِنِّي فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ أَنْظُرُكُمْ وَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الْأُمَمَ فَلَا تُسَوِّدُوا وَجْهِي أَلَا وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُونِي وَسَمِعْتُمْ مِنِّي وَسَتُسْأَلُونَ عَنِّي فَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ أَلَا وَإِنِّي مُسْتَنْقِذٌ رِجَالًا أَوْ إِنَاثًا وَمُسْتَنْقَذٌ مِنِّي آخَرُونَ فَأَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ أَصْحَابِي فَيُقَالُ إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ
It is narrated from Marrah, who says: A companion told me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mounted a red she-camel with a slit ear and stood among us and said: Do you know what day it is today? We replied: Today is the Day of Sacrifice (the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: You have spoken the truth, this is the day of the Greater Pilgrimage (Hajj al-Akbar). Well then, do you know what month this is? We replied: This is the month of Dhul-Hijjah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: You have spoken the truth, this is the sacred month of Allah. Do you know what city this is? We replied: This is the Sacred Precinct (Mash'ar Haram). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: That is correct, your blood and your wealth are as sacred to one another as the sanctity of this day, in this month, and in this city. Beware, I will precede you to the Pond and I will wait for you, and I will boast of your multitude before other nations, so do not disgrace me by your evil deeds. Beware, you have seen me and heard my words, soon you will be questioned about me. Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him prepare his abode in Hell. Beware, I will save some people from evil and trial, and they will drink water from my hands at the Pond, but some people will be snatched away from my hands, meaning they will be prevented from coming near me at the Pond. I will say: O my Lord! These are my companions. It will be said from Allah: You do not know what innovations they introduced in the religion after you.
Hadith 10972
عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ وَهُوَ جَدُّهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَا جَرِيرُ اسْتَنْصِتِ النَّاسَ ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on one occasion during the Farewell Pilgrimage: O Jarir! Make the people quiet. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in his sermon: Do not become disbelievers after me, that you start cutting each other's necks.
