Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the House of Allah (the Ka'bah). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he closed the door. At that time, the structure of the House of Allah was supported by six pillars. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered and moved forward until he reached between the two pillars closest to the Ka'bah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down and praised Allah, supplicated, and sought forgiveness. Then he stood up and came near the front wall of the Ka'bah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed face and pure body against the wall of the Ka'bah. In one narration, it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his chest, body, and both hands against the wall of the Ka'bah, and in that state, he praised Allah, supplicated, and sought forgiveness. Then he returned and went to every corner of the House of Allah, and there he proclaimed the greatness of Allah, the declaration of His oneness, glorified and praised Him, sought forgiveness, and asked Allah for his needs. Then he came out and stood in front of the Ka'bah and performed two units of prayer, and then returned and said two or three times: "This is the Qiblah. This is the Qiblah."
Hadith 10878
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) clinging to the House of Allah between the Black Stone and the door of the Ka'bah, and I also saw other people clinging to the House of Allah along with him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 10879
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Makkah, I said, "Let me put on my clothes—my house was right on the way—and go see what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) does today." When I arrived there, I saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had come out of the Ka'bah, and the noble Companions were clinging and holding onto the Ka'bah from the door to the Hatim. They had pressed their cheeks against the House of Allah, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was among them. I asked Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), "What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do inside the Ka'bah?" He informed me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two rak'ahs of prayer there.
