Hadith 10859
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was riding on the she-camel of Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him). In this manner, he entered Makkah and made the she-camel sit near the Ka'bah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for Uthman bin Talhah to bring the key of the Ka'bah. He brought the key, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) opened the door of the Ka'bah and entered inside. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) also entered the Ka'bah with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). They kept the door of the Ka'bah closed for quite some time. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was a strong young man, so I tried and managed to get ahead of the people. I found Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) standing at the door, so I asked him: At which place did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer? He informed me: Between the two front pillars. I did not remember to ask how many rak'ahs the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed.
Hadith 10860
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Makkah Mukarramah, he refused to enter the House of Allah due to the presence of idols. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that they be removed, so they were taken out. The statues of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and Ismail (peace be upon him) had arrows for divination placed in their hands. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah destroy these people! By Allah, they know that these two never drew lots with arrows. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the House of Allah, proclaimed takbir in all its corners, and then came out. He (peace and blessings be upon him) did not perform prayer in the Ka'bah.
Hadith 10861
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah, there were three hundred and sixty idols placed around the Ka'bah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a stick in his hand, and he would strike those idols with that stick and recite these verses: {جَائَ الْحَقُّ وَمَا یُبْدِیئُ الْبَاطِلُ وَمَا یُعِیْدُ} … Say: The truth has come, and falsehood can neither originate anything nor restore it. The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished away; surely, falsehood is ever bound to vanish. (Surah Bani Isra'il: 81)
