People began to look at it and examine it, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who is there who will take it and fulfill its right? So the people stepped back. Sayyiduna Abu Dujana Simak (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will take it and fulfill its right. Thus, he began to strike off the heads of the polytheists.

I and my helpers reached there, but when Allah's Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed of our plan, he called for me while he was still present at the place of Uhud. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul! He will be buried with his fellow martyrs." And so it happened that he was buried with the other martyrs at Uhud.
