Hadith 10732
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, the tooth between the two front teeth and the canine of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was martyred, and his blessed face was so wounded that blood flowed over his face. During this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "How can a people succeed who have treated their Prophet in this way, while that Prophet was calling them towards their Lord?" Upon this, the following noble verse was revealed: {لَیْسَ لَکَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَیْئٌ أَوْ یَتُوبَ عَلَیْہِمْ أَوْ یُعَذِّبَہُمْ فَإِنَّہُمْ ظَالِمُونَ} … "You have no authority in this matter; it is up to Allah whether He turns towards them or punishes them, for indeed they are wrongdoers."
Hadith 10733
(Second chain) There is a similar narration, except that in it: On the day of Uhud, the face of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was wounded, the tooth between the front teeth and the canines was broken, and an arrow struck the shoulder of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and blood began to flow from his face. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was wiping the blood from his face in this state and was saying: How can that nation attain success which has treated its Prophet in this manner? Upon this, the following verse was revealed: {لَیْسَ لَکَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَیْئٌ أَوْ یَتُوبَ عَلَیْہِمْ أَوْ یُعَذِّبَہُمْ فَإِنَّہُمْ ظَالِمُونَ} … You have no authority in this matter, whether He turns to them in mercy or punishes them, for indeed they are wrongdoers.
Hadith 10734
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards his broken incisor tooth and said: Allah’s severe wrath descended upon those people who treated the Messenger of Allah in such a manner, and Allah’s severe wrath is also upon that person whom the Messenger of Allah kills while he is fighting in the way of Allah.
Hadith 10735
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: On the day of Uhud, I saw two men on the right and left of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), they were dressed in white clothes, they were vigorously defending him. I had never seen them before nor after that.
