Hadith 10698
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that on the day of Badr, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was seated inside his tent. He, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated as follows: "O Allah! I remind You of the promise You made. O Allah! If You will that You are not worshipped after today (then grant our opponents dominance over us and have us killed at their hands)." At that moment, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, took hold of the hand of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah! You have supplicated abundantly to your Lord, and that is sufficient." The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was leaping with joy in his shirt and saying {سَیُہْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَیُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ} … Soon the enemy parties of the Muslims will be defeated, and they will turn their backs and flee.
Hadith 10699
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Badr, among us Muslims, there was no horseman except Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him), and except for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), sleep overcame every one of us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying under a tree and continued to weep and supplicate before Allah Almighty until morning.
Hadith 10700
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Badr, when the battle began, we joined the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) was very brave, and among us, there was no one closer to the polytheists than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 10701
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that I saw on the day of Badr that we were seeking refuge behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he was the closest to the enemy among all of us. On that day, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, displayed great bravery.
Hadith 10702
It is narrated from Abu Salih Hanafi that on the day of Badr, it was said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that with one of you is Jibreel and with the other is Mikaeel, and Israfeel is also present; he is a very great angel who is present in the ranks during battle or at the time of battle.
Hadith 10703
Sayyiduna Abu Dawood Mazni (may Allah be pleased with him), who participated in the Battle of Badr, narrates: He says, I was pursuing a polytheist to kill him when suddenly, before my sword could reach him, his head was severed and fell far away. I realized that someone other than me had killed him.
