It is narrated from Abu Ishaq, he says: I asked Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), how many expeditions did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) undertake in total? He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) undertook nineteen expeditions, and I participated with him in seventeen expeditions. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preceded me in two expeditions (so I was not able to participate in them).
